See how any URL will render when shared on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, and iMessage — in one preview. Paste a URL, see all the Open Graph previews side by side, spot missing tags and broken image dimensions before you publish. Updates in real time as you tweak the meta tags, so you can ship a post you know looks right everywhere.

Why preview tools matter

Each social platform pulls different Open Graph tags, applies different image ratios (1.91:1 for most, 1:1 for some), and caches aggressively. Your link often looks perfect on one platform and broken on another, and the cache means you cannot just 'post and see' — by the time you spot the issue, the first round of shares is already out there with the bad preview. A preview tool shows every platform in one view so you fix it once, before publishing.

What the generator checks

For any URL it pulls `<meta property='og:title'>`, `og:description`, `og:image`, `og:url`, and `og:type`, plus the Twitter equivalents (`twitter:card`, `twitter:title`, etc.). It shows what each field will produce, flags missing tags, and warns when image dimensions are wrong for a platform. If your image is under 1200x630, LinkedIn and Facebook will scale it up and blur. If it is not 1.91:1, some platforms crop it in ugly places.

Making a good preview image

The canonical OG image is 1200x630 pixels. Include a headline the viewer will read at thumbnail size (big text, 48pt+), a brand color, and a single strong visual. Avoid putting anything important in the last 100px of the right or bottom edge — those get cropped on some platforms. To build one, start with the crop tool locked to 1200x630, add text in the photo filters or meme generator, then compress to keep it fast to load.
