⚡ Try with a sample photo

Pull a color palette out of any photo — dominant colors, accent tones, and a harmonious 5-color set ready for a design. Drop in a reference image (a brand shot, a moodboard pic, a favorite photo) and the tool analyzes it locally and hands back hex, RGB, and HSL codes you can paste into any design tool. Runs in your browser, no uploads, no signup.

How the palette is picked

The tool samples the image, clusters similar colors together, and picks representatives from each major cluster. You get a balanced palette rather than five shades of the same color — usually 5-8 colors that actually represent the range of the image. For a tightly-colored image (a sunset, a product against a background), you might get fewer distinct colors; for a varied scene (a street photo, a colorful interior), you get more.

What to do with the palette

Paste the hex codes into Figma, Sketch, CSS variables, Tailwind config, Notion, or your design file. For brand work, pull a palette from the mood that inspired the brand and use it as a starting point. For blog posts, grab 3 colors from the hero image and use them across the post for visual cohesion. For product pages, build the accent and CTA colors from the product photo so everything looks like it belongs.

Beyond extraction — harmonies and adjustments

The tool also suggests harmonies on top of the extracted palette — complementary, analogous, triadic, and shades. Useful when the extracted colors are beautiful but you need one more CTA color and do not want to guess. For UI work, the 'accessible contrast' mode will filter and pair colors so the text-on-background pairs actually pass WCAG AA. Combine palettes from multiple photos for a richer brand set.
