We are constantly working to make Image Shrinker not just the most private tool on the web, but also the fastest. Today's update focuses on speed and a little bit of fun.
1. Copy to Clipboard (Skip the Download)
We noticed many of you were downloading an image just to immediately paste it into Slack, Discord, or X (Twitter). We've removed that step.
You will now find a "Copy" button next to the download button in:
Click it, and the image is instantly in your clipboard, ready to paste (Ctrl+V).
2. Celebration Mode ƒÄë
Completing a creative task feels good. Now it looks good too! When you successfully download your upscaled image or beautified screenshot, you'll get a little burst of confetti. It's our way of saying "Great job!"
3. Install as an App (PWA)
Did you know this website works offline?
- On Chrome/Edge: Look for the "Install" icon in the address bar.
- On Mobile: Tap "Share" -> "Add to Home Screen". It will launch like a native app, with no browser bars and full-speed performance.
