Enlarge and sharpen any image with AI — right in your browser. No uploads, no signup, no watermark. The upscaler model runs on your device, so your originals stay private. Get crisp 2x or 4x output with recovered edges, cleaner text, and less of the soft mush you normally get from a plain resize.

Why upscale in your browser?

Server-based upscalers push your photos to a cloud GPU, queue them behind other users, slap on a watermark, and cap you at a handful of free images a day. This tool runs the model on your own device. Nothing leaves your browser. You can throw a dozen thumbnails at it back-to-back without burning credits, and the output is the full high-res result — no watermark, no resolution cap beyond what your device can handle.

How AI upscaling beats a plain resize

A normal resize just stretches pixels. Lines get soft. Text turns mushy. Hair goes to fuzz. The AI upscaler predicts what the missing detail *should* look like — sharper edges on objects, crisper text, plausible texture on skin and fabric. The trade-off is that it can invent detail that wasn't in the original, so for anything where you need pixel-perfect fidelity (forensics, medical, legal), a plain resize is safer. For photos, screenshots, logos, and AI-art output, the AI version looks dramatically better.

When upscaling works best

Great inputs: low-res product photos, old scanned family pictures, game screenshots, thumbnail-sized AI-generated images, small logos you need to print bigger. Tougher inputs: images that are already very compressed (heavy JPEG artifacts confuse the model), photos that are motion-blurred (the model can sharpen, but it can't un-blur a missed focus), and scans of printed halftone dots. If your source has heavy banding, run it through the photo filters to smooth tone first, then upscale.

Common ways people use it

Rescue low-res product photos

Take a small supplier image and bump it to a clean 2000px hero shot for your Shopify or Etsy listing without the pixelated look.

Old family scans and print shop prep

Scan a small photo at 600 DPI and upscale to a printable 8x10 without the soft, blurry result a plain resize gives you.

Social media and YouTube thumbnails

Starting from a 512x512 AI image? Upscale 4x so it stays sharp at 1920x1080 on a thumbnail or cover image.

Logos and icons for print

Small raster logo that needs to go on a sign or a t-shirt? Upscale it, then run SVG to PNG if you need a different format.
