Convert TIFF images to JPG format directly in your browser — no upload, no signup, no watermark. Scanned receipts, contracts, and document pages from a flatbed scanner usually land as TIFF — often 20–40MB per page. Email and most cloud platforms cap attachments well below that. JPG at quality 85 typically cuts the file to under 1MB per page with no readability loss. The trade-off is loss of multi-page support: each TIFF page becomes a separate JPG. Drop one file or a whole folder, and the converter produces JPG files you can download immediately.

TIFF is a flexible lossless format used in print, scanning, and professional photography. It works in native in Photoshop, Lightroom, and scanner software, but no major web browser displays TIFF natively, and is best suited for archival masters, scanned documents, and pre-press workflows. JPG is a lossy compressed format that produces small files for photographs. It works in every browser, OS, image editor, email client, and printing service ever made, and is best suited for photographs and complex color images headed to email, social media, or print.
TIFF stores every pixel losslessly. Converting to JPG introduces lossy compression, which is what makes the output dramatically smaller. At a quality setting around 85, the visual result is virtually indistinguishable from the source for natural photographs. For text, line art, or sharp edges, expect some softening — that's the trade-off for the size reduction.
TIFF can store transparent backgrounds, but JPG cannot. When you convert, every transparent pixel is filled with white by default. If your source has a transparent background you need to keep, convert to PNG or WebP instead. If transparency was incidental (a logo against an already-light background, for example), the white fill is usually invisible.
The conversion runs entirely in your browser using the built-in canvas encoders. Your TIFF files are never uploaded to any server, never stored, and never logged. That matters when you're converting passports, IDs, medical scans, financial documents, or anything else you wouldn't paste into a stranger's web form. Drop in dozens of files at once — there's no per-file count, no quota, and no watermark on the output.
